1ST CONTROL I HAVE: Im not sure if my control has a faulty battery or anything but whenever i have to use it i have to play wired because i press the ps button and it doesn't blink With the red lights.But when i plug it via usb cable the lights turn on and it connects to the ps3. i can use the control that way..i want to use it wirelessly...it used to work wirelessly as well before too..
2ND CONTROL I HAVE:this one seems really faulty..i can press the ps button and it connects but as soon as it does it says i have to charge it. if i don't it loses its charge. So, when i connect it via usb cable sometimes it just keeps flashing that i need to recharge even when it's connected to the cable.Sometmes i plug it in and it briefly charges but 5 seconds later it either turns off or the 4 red lights start blinking again to reconnect. I DON'T KNOW WHaT TO DO AND I REALLY NEED HELP WITH THIS.!!!! P.s I WANT THEM TO BE ABLE TO CONNECT WIRLESSLEY AGAIN AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO....

first you should always keep the receipt to any electronics cuz it sounds like they just broke ive took my controller apart and cleaned it cuz juice got on. They just sound like they plain broke to me ied take my 2nd one back to the store you bought and see what sony will do about fixing the first that came with you re system hope you re still under warranty

my friend came over and the same exact thing happened to us but we pressed home button twice quickly and afterword it worked. =D

how old are the controllers ?
on average they're usually good for 12-18 months so if they're old then they're probably just worn out
try a new one or one from a friends that you know works and if it's still not working then the ps3 might need repair
