I've had my ps3 along with the controller since last Xmas 08. Now year 09 of course it's been up until now that I've noticed that my controller's L3 Button is starting to get messed up. When I press the joystick in as like for sprinting in COD games I don't feel that clicking anymore, Kinda terrible if you ask me. Whenever I move the analog stick upwards sometimes it'll stay like that, so it's so annoying!!!

Is there any way to fix analog sticks? Primarily the left one!

I tried putting oil but no luck!

well if it doesnt have the clicking feel any more then its warn out theres nothing you can do about that and oil wont help either

i think the spring is broken. like my ps2 controller. you cant fix it. you can only get a new one

it should still be under warranty. send it back

If you can't hear the click from the L3 button, it is worn out and there is reduced friction. Adding oil will make it even worse.

No dude you need a new one lol its always the left side that goes first.

Also i noticed it wasn't quite the same after i launched it at the wall after i died playing MGSolid on line LOL.
