Can you buy ANY HDMI lead to connect a 360/PS3 to a HD tv?

I have both a 360 and PS3 but still play games on a standard def tv, but am hoping to get a full HD one very soon. Can I buy any HDMI cable to connect either console to a HD tv? I don't want to buy official Sony/Microsoft ones as they charge over the top. Thanks
