Ps3 Controller Won't Work?

It was working fine until it said to charge it at which point i left it on the USB cord for 30 minutes so i know for sure its not low battery charge and now when i take it out all the LEDs flash when i press the PS button but it does not connect to the ps3 and it only works now when connected via USB cable. P.S. the controller is an official DualShock 3 wireless controller. Thank you very much in advance.

use new bateries or sync it

plug usb in then press ps button>then unplug it

this may help

Check the controller setting to see if the ps3 is picking it up. If not I'd try to resest the ps3 by holding the power button till it beeps 3 times.

I had this problem just yesterday. If you plug in controller to USB, and turn on then off repeatedly, and then restart the system, they should work fine

press the ps button and if it doesnt work and then just plug in the usb into the remote
