Video and Audio are out of sync when watching bluray movie on PS3?

I'm try to watch a blu-ray movie on my Playstation 3 and the audio and video are slightly out of sync. The way it is hooked up is through a HDMI cable to a sony bravia lcd. I have no clue what is wrong here. Is it the cable, the player, the tv? somebody help.

in my opinion i believe it is the tv. it might have an hdmi slot but the actual screen might not project it right.

never had that problem but check your cable for kinks , cheaper ones could have connection issues
check all video and audio settings too , the output should match the tv

and finally , try another movie
