How can I connect my Seagate external hard drive to my PS3?

Well my PS3 detects the hard drive but I can't play the media in the hard drive.

The Seagate HDD is formatted NTFS.

yes you need to convert your hardrive to fat32 that way way it will work with ps3, a nice little free program to help u do this is fat32formater, i did this on my own external hardrive for extra storage for ps3 ,works a treat
