Backing Up Data From a PS3 Formatted Hard drive onto a PC.?

My PS3's power supply gave out and I'm trying to back-up my files on the hard drive onto my computer, however the formatting is different and both my PC and laptop will not detect the hard drive when I hook it up.

Is there anyway to get my Windows computers to detect the hard drive?
