PS3 External Hard Drive Question?
I have a 40 gig ps3. The hard drive space in this thing is freakin ridiculously small. I don't have any external hard drive to back up my save files to. If I did, I would back them up and buy a new hard drive for the PS3. Instead, I was wondering if I could buy an external hard drive and copy my save files to that in order to free up the initial hard drive space. Any help on this topic would be MUCH appreciated. I have save files from games like Oblivion and Fallout 3, which take up about 5 gigs a piece. I just need to know how I can give myself more space and what methods I have available to me because I don't want to screw anything up. Thanks.

Edit: I will NEVER own a crappy 360. I don't enjoy throwing my money away on a system that is pretty much guaranteed to break down on me. Also, the PS3 is a MUCH better system. And to the other guy, I don't know if you saw, but I have a FORTY GIG. Meaning, I don't have the sd slots or anything. Just 2 USB ports. And I already said that I didn't want to risk screwing anything up so I'm not interested in swapping the internal hard drive. Cmon people
