We bought a Zero Wireless controller for the PS3 but we're not able to hook it up...tried plugging it in then turning on the console..thats about all it says to do but it doesn't work. Help!

you need the small USB attachment. it would have came with one new, using the mini USB cable will only charge it, do yourself a favor. I have a zero wireless and the battery is shot and i now have a dual shock 3 and it is way better, it is first party, great vibration, no USB DONGLE! take it back if possible. otherwise use the USB stick dongle, press the small button on it and then the connection button on the controller and it will sync color coordinating. any other questions just ask
