Do you need an HDMI cable for ps3 to get HD?
I am getting a 52" HD LCD tv. I was wondering if i needed to buy an HDMI cable if i wanted my ps3 to have hd qualtiy. If i don't, do i just plug my ps3 into the hd tv and it will be hd??????

No you don't need an HDMI,
but you will need a component cable Either of these will give you hd and it makes a HUGE difference
