how do i assign a ps3 controller?
i have 1 plug and other one that is connected how do i connect it

just put the usb cord into it and then into the playstation and then hit the PS button and it should do it

The way to do it is to plug it into the new system via the USB charging cable. Then hit the PS button. The controller will blink for a few, and then be registered with the new system. Use the same method to reset back to the old system...

Connect one to the first usb port, press the PS button, then unplug it and plug in the second controller to the second usb port and press the PS button.
