Default Hello,i have a ps3 and lcd hdtv that is full hd and a component cable that...

...support 1080i? but the cable support 1080i and when i set the resolution of ps3 to 1080p it works does that mean that the cable support 1080p and will ther be any problem while playing games in 1080p

I have never heard of a component cable that had a limitation on it. Just because I have never heard of it does not make it true, however, more than likely what is happening is you are only viewing everything in 1080i. Your cable should downconvert it to its maximum potential if needs be. Your best bet is to buy an HDMI cable. But don't spend a whole lot on one. The $100 monster cables are good but they support technology that we don't even use right now. Just buy an inexpensive one for now and enjoy everything in 1080p.
