Over a month ago I had gotten my PS3 replaced with a brand new hard drive, and for some of the games I own I desperately need the save files from my old hard drive, as i'm too far ahead to start again and downloading other save files won't work as they are locked to a certain PSN. I don't want to consider getting my PS3 jailbroken

I was wondering would I be able to phone up Sony and ask them if they still had my hard drive in possession even though I got it replaced like a month ago or would they format the hard drive and use it in a different PS3? I still have the reference number they gave me but would that still be within the system?
