...lights but doesn't function? When I press the PS3 Button on the controller, it does nothing. I have to plug it in, then press it, but then it just repeatedly flashes all four lights simultaneously in a loop until I manually turn the system off by hand. Is there any way I can fix this problem? Please reply ASAP!

When you plug in the USB and it starts flashing the 4 lights hit the PS3 home button, that should do the trick.
