hi i just bought a 160GB ps3 slim. i already had a 40GB ps3 fat that still works.Can i take all the data and transfer it over to the 160 GB model and then take the hard drive out and play it on the fat ps3 model? If so how? Thanks in advance!!!

yes to transfer data you need a ethernet cord and you need to plug both of them in and click transfer data from one ps3 to another in the settings menu. also you need a screw driver and the fat model ps3 hdd is on the left side and the slims hdd is on the from right bottom. to access these hdd you have to pop off the cover for each system and un screw the screw that is holding it in place and then you can pop them out and change them. good luck
