I have bought a new headset that has a Audio and Microphone Jack built into it. It came with a USB wire that can plug into a second outlet of the wire. I was wondering if I plug this USB into a Ps3 if it is possible for me to use while playing.

IMPORTANT* I'm not sure if this corrupts the usage but my Ps3 is from Japan and it is perfectly fine and the same as an original one. The only difference is that X and O buttons are switched.

Can you please help?

Am pretty sure you can my cousin uses it while playing modern warfare all you have to is configure your PS3 settings.
