Yes. I'll be getting a new one this Christmas because my mom's anger issues broke part of mine off. It still works, but I was thinking that since Imma getting a new one maybe I can paint this old one. As practice so I'll know how to do the new one if I decide to. I know how to take the two halves apart, but that's as far as I know. Idk what's in there. Or what paint to use. Some sort of spray paint probably? Do y'all think it would be better to practice and screw up an old ps2/ps1 controller?

I'm looking for opinions on how hard it would be to take it apart, prepare it for painting, and what sort of paint would hold up for this? It's a plain black dualshock 3 that came with my ps3.
