can you play skyrim on PC with a PS3 controller?

I just got skyrim for PC. I also have a ps3, I've noticed that skyrim would be better with a controller. Can I connect my PS3 controller to my PC or should I buy an xbox controller?

Feedback would be great

You can look for... uh... I think they are emulators for the controller. The post above is half retarded btw. Usb's are universal. The only downside with emulators are that you cannot use the sticks. But you can use a PS3 controller for any PC game.

NO!!!!!!!! Ps3 uses a strict Ps3 only usb.
