Ps3 160gb hard drive kit?

I was wondering if I bought this does it add to my 80gb that I have or does it replace it with just the 160?

replaces...because the ps3 does not have a internal harddrive..so when you took out that harddrive it will have no memory at all...so it will just replace it with 160
