PS3 USB game files transferable?

If I transfer my PS3 save files to a USB flash drive could I put them on another one? Im getting a new one soon and want to transfer my save files because its pretty annoying having to do everything again
Also online storage isnt an option for me plus I already have a flash drive

So will it work?
