Pakistan to take on India in the 3rd Blind Cricket World Cup final today
Defending champion Pakistan will take on archrival India in the final of 3rd Cricket World Cup for Blind at Pindi Cricket Stadium today (Saturday).
Governor Punjab Lt. Gen (retd) Khalid Maqbool would be the chief guest on the occasion.
The responsibilities of umpiring would be performed by Ijaz Ahmed and Khalid Mehmood senior while Asif Yaqoob would be reserved umpire. Arshad Pervaiz would be match referee of the final while the official scorers would be Shakil Ahmed and Adnan Farooq.
Pakistan won the 2002 Cricket World Cup for Blind defeating South Africa in Indian city Chennai.
Meanwhile, both Pakistan and India participated in a training and practice session on Friday in Pindi Cricket Stadium.
Abdul Razzaq, Captain Pakistan’s Cricket team hopeful that Pakistani team would defend its title comprehensively, adding that all the players of the team in good form and would beat India in the final with the huge margin.
