I hear crap like the 40gb system is not backward compatible at all for ps1 and ps2 games. I also hear that sony is only manufacturing the 40gb systems now which sounds like a load of crap. Whats the truth and whats crap!? Are the 80gb systems even being made anymore? and if they're not then do the 60gb systems have all the features that the 80 gb has minus the extra 20 gigs of storage? If a playstation enthusiast that works at a gameshop answers you will easily get best answer.
It sounds like the new 80gb system is the only way to go then. that sucks now i gotta wait forever for it to come out the wait for the hype to die down so i can actually get it without any problems. But let me get this straight; so the 60gb system has the weekest hardware of them all then? or does it have both the old and new hardware? I just want to be sure not to get something i don't want if i find something on ebay or something like that. And why did they stop making the 80gb for awhile? I hope r n d and nate check back and answer these q's too.
